Paul G Day Illustrations Paul G Day Copyright2015 Paul G Day All rights reserved Red Bear decided one fine day To borrow a plane and fly away But the only one that Red Bear knew Was a plane like the one the Red Baron flew So Red Bear took off from a long runway One beautiful sunny late Spring day He flew for miles but not too slow Until he saw a city far below He flew over buildings that reached to the clouds He flew under a bridge though he wasnt allowed He flew over the harbor with its water blue He even flew over Taronga Park Zoo When over the city Red Bear had flown He decided to go to a place far from home Ill fly to the desert the little bear said So he turned the plane and off Red Bear sped He flew over sand like an ocean below But the name of the desert Red Bear did not know He flew over creek beds as dry as the sun Up there in the sky he was having such fun Then Red Bear had an interesting thought He would fly to the islands first East and then North For hed heard stories about a mountain of fire And to see it in person was his greatest desire
