The Magic in You, Making Changes in the Neighborhood, a Fairytale

A fairy, Phloxie, who is told by the queen fairy that she has to take care of a trashy vacant lot in the city. She was mad and wished for someone to help her make a garden. Up walks a reluctant boy and his cat, Mittens. He can't believe it, a real fairy! But even his cat sees the fairy. The fairy talks the boy into helping her make a beautiful garden. He uses is brain, his brawn and heart to make it happen. The story is about recycling, city clean up, community gardens, and working in community.
