When Albert Whitman was founded more than a century ago, our goal was simple: make good books that kids want to read. Today, we continue this tradition, guided by a deeper mission to create stories that also educate and empower children.  Together, we can create a safe space for kids to learn about themselves and their communities. We can promote empathy, inclusion, and personal responsibility.
