Jason Lane

Jason is a technology veteran with over 10 years of experience building digital web and mobile apps for the entertainment industry.  He has always enjoyed helping kids grow and learn. He started the first four years of his career working at a day care along with a year as a middle school math tutor and computer lab aid.  Since then, he became a husband and father and loves spending time playing and reading with his son.  He knows the kids of today are the leaders of tomorrow and we need to give them all the resources we can to help them make our world a better place, which is one of the sources of inspiration for MagicBlox.

After his early days in education, Jason chose a path towards technology and business solutions.  In 2004, he led a team at NBC Universal to pioneer the first digital video distribution and digital workflow system.  He left NBC Universal in 2006 to live in Las Vegas, where he worked at MGM Mirage, leading a team responsible for all things digital across 22 hotel casino properties.  Most recently he has been helping some Silicon Valley companies such as Mediazone, Ribbit, Swipp, Jibe Mobile, and PayPal.  He has an MIS degree and earned his MBA from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business in 2009.
