What a charming story! The little monster, Walli, is the perfect way to introduce a shy or fearful child to Halloween, which can be an overwhelming experience – but is entertaining for all. I really enjoyed the way the author switched the usual storyline of a child being afraid of monsters, to a monster being afraid of children. The drawings of Walli, are sweet and goofy and endearing. And the ending is just wonderful fun! :)
