I once lived near someone who told me he was greedy. He proved it too, as his house was the biggest and he had the biggest, loudest truck. He was also mean and selfish, as he often played music in his backyard blasting from his big truck so loud you could hear it plainly from blocks away, even though it bothered his neighbors. One dog was not enough for him, he had plenty. They all barked all day, all night--he didn't care. He treated everyone with contempt. His pride was his life, his ego all that mattered. I can only imagine that if he was a king, he'd be just like the one in this story. Some people are rotten to the core, as this tale demonstrates well. GREAT BOOK!
