Olga, Conall & Jason Lane 2010

We've been working on Magicblox for almost 2 years now and every minute that has gone by has been increasingly more exciting as we watch it grow.  The idea came in March of 2009, after weeks of brain storming sessions to find something we could sink our teeth into.  The initial idea was to create a story telling web site where users could tell and share stories using our platform.  After researching the publishing market and seeing the trend towards digital books, we morphed our idea into a digital kids book library where parents and children could find extremely affordable and interactive picture books and independent authors could finally create a name for themselves.

After going through a few different project teams, hundreds of hours of researching and planning,  and several months of development, a new web site and business was born to bring parents and children together with authors and pubishers in a way that hadn't been done before.  These first 4 months have been tremendously exciting, authors and publishers are getting paid and more importantly kids and parents around the world are enjoying colorful books and inspiring stories. 

My family and I are extremely grateful for all of the contributions and support from everyone  who helped get us to this point;  Our engineers, designers, friends & family, the authors and publishers who are hosting their content in our library and the parents and children who are buying subscriptions and reading our books.   

We've come along way in a short time and we look forward to the continued growth and opportunities ahead.
